The IPG Group was founded in 2001. As a pioneer in the IAM market the founders had discovered a skills gap. We succeeded in sensitizing businesses from all sectors for Identity & Access Management. First projects in medium sized and large companies could be implemented successfully.
In 2006, the market developement in Germany was enabled by the establishment of the subsidiary in Hamburg.At the same time IPG launched the in-house developed role modelling software "Rolmine".
In 2010, the market was successfully expanded to Austria with the establishment of a subsidiary in Wien. At the same time the Software "Rolemine" was sold to Beta Systems Software AG.
In 2013, IPG presented the service innovation "IAM as a Service" as a Managed Service. Once again IPG demonstrated pioneering spirit and was the first to enable outsorced IAM operation for its clients in the DACH market.
In 2014, IPG employes 40 employees and was active as a renowned IAM service provider. Thereby IPG looked back on more than 120 successful IAM projects. Furthermore IPG operated IAM as a managed service for many clients.
Since 2015, IPG has had 50 employees in the DACH region. To stabilise the IPG Group, IPG Information Process Group Holding AG was founded with its headquarters in Winterthur.
In 2016, the first successful introductions of Customer IAM solutions took place. In doing so we offer our clients an instrument for the efficient development of new sales channels. At the moment IPG employs 60 employees.
In 2017, the IPG Group established its quality management system with ISO 9001:2015 certification. Through the new technology partnership with EmpowerID, IPG expands its offering in the area of cloud security. The new partnership with BeyondTrust extends IPG's offering with cyber security solutions. The partner Imprivata awards IPG "Partner of the Year 2016". In the "Handelszeitung" and "Le Temps" rankings, the IPG Group is noted as one of the 55 fastest-growing companies in Switzerland.
The IPG Group reaches the highest partner level "Platinum+" with One Identity in 2018. IPG is committed to the promotion of young talent and becomes a recognized practice partner of the Berufsakademie (BA) Sachsen.
IPG will further expand its business activities in French-speaking Switzerland in 2019. In Austria, the move to larger offices. Partner One Identity honors IPG with the awards “EMEA Partner of the Year 2019” and “Regional Partner of the Year - Central Region”. The product portfolio is expanded through the new technology partnerships with WALLIX, privileged access management and SailPoint, identity governance.
