IT security for remote workplaces

The sudden change to remote workplaces is currently confronting many companies with new challenges. Ronny Vedder, Managing Director Operation, explains what to look out for and how we can support you.

What happens if your IT department can no longer perform on site?
The Corona Virus spreads every day. One of the most effective methods is currently reducing social contacts. However, everyday work must continue in many places. So everyone who can work from the home office.

  • Have you thought of everything?
  • Is your organization prepared for this?
  • Can you still ensure adequate IT security?
  • Online meetings, video conferences, access to shared or virtual file storage, secure access possibly even using MFA, SSO applies in the company - but also remotely?
  • Virtually distributed projects -> How do you deal with them?

How does the IPG support you in this situation?
The IPG has been traveling virtually for years. We have the know-how, the technical and human resources to support companies remotely, for example in the operation of the IAM solution. We are able to guarantee the availability of the systems regardless of location. Current government restrictions, such as Closing the borders is not a problem for us in this case. We continue to perform our services without restriction. We are also happy to take on new orders at short notice or to increase our range of services to meet your problems at short notice.

When an IAM project gets stuck?
Our setup has always been set up for the “virtual continuation” of IAM projects. Our team is tried and tested in remote access work and knows their challenges well. If your IAM project gets stuck due to the current situation, we will be happy to help you.

Short term, flexible?
Yes, as long as the network infrastructure allows, we are ready for you immediately. Our technology partners, with whom we have been working for a long time, quickly offer a solution. If you need licenses for existing IAM or SSO solutions at short notice due to the current situation, please contact us.

We take care
All IPG employees are motivated to maintain their IAM operations and to continue their IAM projects that have already started. Individual employees are currently working in our six locations in Switzerland, Germany and Austria – or as many in this time in the home office.
